Arched Sauna Door Features

  • ADA-approved heavy-duty commercial custom sauna door with architectural plugs
  • Constructed of 100% western red cedar
  • Sealed and tempered, thermo-paned double-insulated glass ensures that no moisture becomes trapped between the panes
  • Comes with 4 hinges (2 standard and 2 self-closing bomber hinges) plus 1 one cedar handle

All sauna doors must open out! A good quality sauna door assures a safe functioning sauna. Simply push to open when leaving the sauna. This is a safety measure ensuring sauna bathers have a quick exit. The handle is attached on the outside to pull open. The self-closing hinge ensures the sauna door closes behind you. Add a second handle, optional.

    All our sauna doors include UP TO a 51/4″ jamb
    Your door jamb is the sum of your wall thickness, e.g.:
    • 3/4″ T&G cedar — 11/16″
    • Wall studs — if 2x4″ = 31/2″; if 2x6″ = 51/2″
    • Drywall — usually 1/2″

    DOOR JAMB = 43/4″ Round up to the nearest 1/8″ and enter: "4.75"; It's best to be slightly thicker than, i.e. "proud" of your wall

    Trim covers the gap between the jamb and the wall stud

Description

Sauna door is handmade and one of a kind!

The frame is jointed, biscutted and glued, and heavily screwed together

  • All the screw holes in the frame filled with cedar plugs.
  • The top piece of the frame is curved and the window size is 14″ x 20″.
  • Interior is built without the arched plugged detail and is the same as the standard sauna walls
  • Width access of 36″. This requires an RO of 38″ x 82″ for Commercial ADA doors.
  • Width access of 22″. This requires an RO of 24″ x 82″ for standard residential door.
  • Comes with 4 hinges (2 standard and two self closing bomber hinges) and a cedar handle for commercial.
  • Comes with 3 hinges (2 standard and one self closing bomber hinges) and a cedar handle for residential.
  • Great for commercial facilities wanting something unique
  • All our sauna doors are constructed of western red cedar
  • Clad with 1×4″ or 1×6″ tongue and groove cedar
  • All joints are reinforced and glued to prevent sagging
  • 5⅛” standard jamb width (custom jamb widths available)
