Cedar Sauna Rooms | DIY Sauna Kits + Sauna Materials Packages for Homes + Spas

Cedarbrook builds DIY ready-to-assemble and ready-to-install sauna kits for homes, spas, gyms + other facilities

We’ve has been building sauna kits, doors and heaters for 50+ years — Steam rooms too!

We offer 2 sauna directions…. Either you have an open space and want to put together a kit OR you have existing walls and you have a sauna remodel project

We build cedar saunas in two categories:

Modular Sauna Kits

Pre-FAB Sauna kits are a “true sauna kit” — meaning it’s ready to assemble. It starts with simple track sitting on the floor…

The wall panels have a slot which fits the track. Place the wall panels on the track and secure them to each other. Add the ceiling panels and benches and you have an indoor sauna room ready to be wired for the heater, lights + switch.

PreCUT Sauna Materials Packages include all the parts and pieces – cedar, door, heater, benches that you’ll need to convert your existing room into a sauna

First this type of kit requires some preparation: Drywall removed, vents and blocking set, framed door rough opening (commonly 24×82″), wired and insulated — then you’re ready to convert your room into a sauna with this kit.

See ALL > Sauna Materials Packages (SMP) — These kits are ALL indoor kits, technically as you’re responsible for the actual structure

Wake Up and Smell the Cedar!

I had a larger sized closet (4×6) that I always wanted to turn into a sauna … So the boys at Cedarbros sent me a sauna construction kit [Sauna Materials Package] that fits almost perfectly. I only had to cut the widths and then cover the corners with trim. My electrician hooked up the heater and light. Love the cedar smell and the warms benches. They’re really nicely made. They recommended going wider 2″ on the top bench — use it every morning! — Greg R., Wauwatosa, WI

Aw … We’re Blushing

It’s hard to express how pleased I am with my new sauna and with my entire experience dealing with Cedarbrook Sauna Shopping your website, working with you on my space and ideas during the planning stage, your recommendation of the Harvia Cilindro 9kW heater (it’s prefect!), finalizing the order, the packaging and delivery of the kit, your clear labeling of every item, great instructions and online video resources, beautiful high quality straight grain clear cedar, solid pre-assembled benches, plenty of wood for the installation (actually extra) and a wonderful (2x wonderful) finished product. You folks are the best! — Sam K., Jackson, WY

They Answer the Phone – OMG!

My wife and I use the cedar sauna 3 times already and we have made it part of our routine. Impressed with how quality it is. Any questions I’ve had, I can get the Cedarbrook on the phone which was important to me. It’s no wonder your sauna business has lasted as long as it has [45 years]. I will be in touch about your steam systems shortly. Thanks again. — Sandeep L., Greenville, SC

Sauna Door Replaced

I’m Finnish, but recently learned that the word sauna “Sow Nah” is my heritage’s only contribution to the English language… oh well, I digress. In any case, I bought this sauna heater accessories package. And it’s been great. My sauna door did arrive with a crack. Given the way it was shipped, I was surprised. I mean it was encased in plywood and strapped, so clearly I could not fault the guys at Cedarbrook. More importantly, they reshipped a new door in a couple of days. Thanks! — Timothy O., Appleton, WI

Infrared vs. Colds

I purchased one of your infrared sauna back in 2006. It has been the best investment I have ever made. I used to get one cold after another in the winter months and I have not had a cold/flu since I stared using the sauna 15 years later!! My new protocol is to stay inside in the warm sauna for a day or two drinking hot ginger tea and taking 2-3 saunas daily. In the winter months, I turn the sauna on in the morning, faithfully taking a sauna every morning. Whenever I feel under the weather, the sauna has been my first line of defense. Boy, it has been a godsend. — Jeffrey K., Coeur d’Alene, ID
