Glass Sauna Door | Enjoy Full Light and an Inviting View from your Sauna Room

All glass sauna door provides maximum visibility for sauna bathers

Besides clear sauna glass, there are several glass finishes to choose: etched/matte, grey, satin, rain or bronze. Choose your jamb and extensions, trim, etc.
  • If application is our Modular Sauna Kit: Door glass is set for a 24×72″ R.O. (Rough Opening) / Actual Door finished opening size: 22″x71″
  • Includes a 1″ thick cedar jamb and 1×2 stops for the sides and top
  • If application is a Sauna Material Package (i.e., or your own sauna project): Door RO is set for a 26×72″ R.O. (Rough Opening) / Actual Door finished opening size: 24″x71″ after the 1″ thick cedar jamb on the sides and top.
  • Note: The glass comes 7/16″ smaller in width and 13/16″ smaller in height than the size of the finished opening. This allows room for the poly carbonate bulb seals.
  • We also provide 1×2 stops that can be added to the active side and top if desired. If these are added the door will only swing out and not both ways. * Often over time with the heat of the sauna and the glass getting very hot, the adhesive on the poly carbonate bulb seals can wear out. Some small gaps around the door in a sauna condition is OK and will not affect the functionality of the sauna. Only a small amount a very dry hot air escapes and will not change the ambient conditions of the adjoining air space at all.

STANDARD FEATURES INCLUDE:

  • Glass is ⅜″ thick standard or ½″ option ** All tempered glass
  • Chrome hardware, hinges with water tight built-in polycarbonate bulb seals
  • Includes a back-to-back wooden D-handle. Choose: 6″, 8″, 10″ or 18″ On Center holes for your handle

Glass sauna doors require a review of proper sauna heater (by kilowatts) as glass is a heat sink. The built-in polycarbonate bulb seals are great at keeping the sauna heat from escaping, so your sauna heats up faster. The hardware finishes are: Chrome (standard), brushed nickel or matte black.

    Measure Your Door Jamb

    All our sauna doors include UP TO a 51/4″ jamb
    Your door jamb is the sum of your wall thickness, e.g.:
    • 3/4″ T&G cedar — 11/16″
    • Wall studs — if 2x4″ = 31/2″; if 2x6″ = 51/2″
    • Drywall — usually 1/2″

    DOOR JAMB = 43/4″ Round up to the nearest 1/8″ and enter: "4.75"; It's best to be slightly thicker than, i.e. "proud" of your wall

Maximum visibility with a clean look

The standard doors come with clear glass but etched matte, grey or bronze is also available. Comes with a 5 1/8″ wood jamb and extrensions can be added for very wide jambs.

  • Designed for a 26 x 72″ RO – see options
  • Deducting the wood jamb, the finished opening size will be 24″ x 71″
  • Includes a back to back wooden D handle.

These doors include a watertight system with built in polycarbonate bulb seals! This keeps the heat from escaping and increases efficiency. The hardware finishes are: Chrome (standard), Brushed Nickle or oil rubbed bronze.
