How to test your Hi Limit Switch …
Use a short screwdriver or chopstick or pencil (eraser-end) to test your Hi Limit switch. It should feel spongey when working properly — meaning it does NOT require a reset. However, if you push the button and you hear an audible “click”, then you have just reset your Hi Limit switch. You can operate the sauna this way for a while and your sauna heater will work. Of course at some point, it will fail and you’ll want to replace it. Part# 3119-518
