Vents

Sauna vents ensures the sauna heater appliance breaths better and so will you!

Some skip venting and your sauna heater will work, but you’ll be adding strain to its work load. Best to add vents during your design phase

Accepted Sauna Venting Standards

• Heaters < 9kW use 4×6″ size vents
• Heaters ≥ 9kW use 6×8″ size vents

Intake vents are placed behind or near the heater about 2″ above the floor
Exit vents are best placed in the opposite corner about 6″ below the ceiling
Small saunas (<4×6′) can use a 1/2″ gap under the door as an intake vent
