- Sauna Kit — a true freestanding sauna kit you assemble in an open space (indoors or outdoors). If outdoors, see Outdoor Sauna Bases
- Sauna Materials Package — which requires existing walls in your home, spa or outdoor building

For example, you’ll pick a 5×7 (WxL) size or 6×8 or whatever best fits your site or existing room.

- Sauna Kit — Default door size R.O. 24×72″ and ceiling height: 6′4″. See options to raise either
- Sauna Materials Package — Default door size R.O. 24×82″ and ceiling height: 7′0″. See options to raise or lower either
Our Rail & Stile Door with large glass window is included in the price, or browse other sauna doors (organized by your sauna’s default ceiling height)
► For your size choice, we present kW sauna heaters that exceed the volume
A basic heater with built-in controls is included in the price or browse more sauna heaters with more control options. We sort heaters by kW class and by types of controls, e.g. built-in, external or WiFi-enabled and wood-fired). If you already have your heater, click “NO HEATER” and the site won’t ask you twice. All our saunas include ALL accessories but if ordering an SMP, you can select what you need. These are: Sauna Foil Vapor Barrier (built into panels), Sauna Heater Guard Rail, 2 Vent Sliders (built into panels), 2 Vent Grills (built into panels), Brushed Aluminum Wall Light, Cedar Head rest, 5″ Chrome Thermometer, Spruce Bucket (1 gal) + Plastic Liner, Wooden Ladle, 100mL Eucalyptus Fragrance.

STANDARD DEDUCTIONS: To be clear, no matter what heater or door you choose, we deduct the our standard heater and door from your total. Thus if you go with the standards, the charge and the deduction offset to zero. This keeps all items clearly explained.
Last of course, choose your shipping method, check out and pay. IF you want to pay 50% down, you can click Convert to Quote. This is the last button on the Check out page.
SAUNA PLAN REVIEW & APPROVAL
One of our sauna experts will review your order, sauna plan, door swing, components, etc.
- We may have a conversation first (usually within a week or two), then
- We create a sauna drawing/s per your order and send an email with link directing you to …
- Your “Pending Drawings” — a menu item shown in your My Account page (Customer Dashboard) of our website AFTER you login
- You’ll review it and make us aware if you’d like any changes
- We’ll resend a NEW sauna drawing (if required) until it’s the sauna kit you’re expecting to assemble or the sauna package you’re expecting to build
- Finally approve the drawing/s — All sauna projects receive a FLOOR PLAN drawing. Sauna Kits also receive an ELEVATION drawing
SAUNA GOES TO PRODUCTION
We create work order based on Sauna Drawing/s for our production facility to build and package
- We build your sauna project along with sauna door and benches are built. The door will be installed in the sauna kit’s front wall panel. So NO door installation is necessary. Trim materials and fascia boards are slightly overlength. Sauna accessories are boxed
- All items on your order are cross-checked, labeled and packaged. Heater, controls and rocks sometimes are drop-shipped by the distributor separately
- Your order is palletized and tarp-wrapped for the elements in our facility before loaded onto a third party freight truck, unless we deliver it locally
Prior to shipping if any remaining balance is due, we’ll prompt you for that.
SHIPPING / LOCAL DELIVERY / PICK-UP
We prep all items per your shipping method chosen at check out
If you prefer, you can also pick up your sauna in our Woodinville showroom (near Seattle) or our Cashmere production facility (central Washington). See our “Shipping Details” pop-up panel for greater detail, but basically …
- We email you a BOL (Bill of Lading) document with the pertinent numbers (PRO #) to help you receive your pallet
- Locally Cedarbrook delivers otherwise pallets are shipped via a third-party LTL (Less Than a Truck Load) Common Carrier OR you pick up with your own truck or trailer
- Someone must be present on-site to sign for the shipment. Or to expedite, some customers have picked-up their shipments at a trucking terminal.
- The trucker may elect to drop it in your driveway (at their discretion) but only commit to curb-side delivery.
- Some shipment sizes may require two able-bodied workers to off-load the pallet (usually 5×7 sauna kits or bigger)
ASSEMBLY OF YOUR MODULAR SAUNA KIT
Remember these sauna kits REQUIRE a hard level surface and some light carpentry
If OUTDOORS: Cement slab, landscaping pavers, wood platform work as suitable bases, SEE: Outdoor Sauna Bases. Note if sitting on a deck, you’ll need a tray to block cold air from coming in. We offer them for sauna sizes 5×7 or less OR you can download the basic plan. See our sauna video series.
If INDOORS: Cement slab, tile, hardwood floor, linoleum, etc.
